How It Works

1. Talk to Your Pastor
Individuals begin by speaking with their pastor and receiving a referral.

2. Get Connected
The pastor contacts Anointed Hope Ministries.

3. Receive Support
Depending on the individual's needs and circumstances, they may receive pastoral counseling or be connected with professional counseling resources.

Pastoral Counseling vs. Clinical Counseling

Pastoral counseling and clinical mental health counseling are different forms of support. Through Anointed Hope Ministries, pastoral counseling is strictly pastoral in nature, offering spiritual encouragement, biblical guidance, prayer, and support as individuals navigate life’s challenges.

Pastoral counseling may include:

  • Processing a difficult life transition or loss

  • Seeking biblical guidance for a personal or relational situation

  • Working through forgiveness, grief, or spiritual struggles

  • Talking through challenges in marriage or family relationships

  • Receiving prayer, encouragement, and spiritual support

Clinical mental health treatment may include:

  • Assessment or diagnosis of a mental health disorder

  • Treatment of conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, or other mental health disorders

  • Psychotherapy or other clinical treatment

  • Ongoing care for mental health symptoms that require professional treatment

Anointed Hope Ministries does not provide clinical mental health treatment or psychotherapy. When an individual's needs extend beyond the scope of pastoral counseling, we help connect them with qualified clinical professionals and appropriate resources.

“This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls.

It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.”

Hebrews 6:19
